These hardy, small, but strong hounds that were used as working hounds. There existed ancient Welsh laws provided for severe penalties to those who harmed the hound or stole it as the hound to determine the family’s economic status. The hounds were used to herd the cattle and guard it from predators. A dog breeder will always have information on training and care, along with photos of past dogs.
