The Cardigan Welsh Corgi dog is quite small, standing 10-13 inches high at the shoulder. The dog has large and upright ears, elongated head, deep and broad chest, strong limbs and long tail. The eyes are usually brown, and the degree of color should correspond to the coat color. Blue merle dogs can have blue eyes. These dogs have a medium-length double-coat, which occurs in brindle, sable, black, black and brindle, black and tan, blue merle and red.
